WICKED strayed from the first objective of sparing humankind and their attempts to rehash the Trials were undermining the final resort left to humanity.
It is the spin-off of the 2015 film Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, and the third and last portion in the Maze Runner films.
Maze Runner: The Death Cure was initially set for February 17, 2017, but to give time for Dylan O’Brien to pull through from his wounds endured on-set, Twentieth Century Fox rescheduled the film for February 9, 2018.
